January 2024
After much hard work in 2023 by our president and various other Club and Committee members, we are pleased to announce that we have a new home at the Luddenham Showgrounds. We will host our two annual shows at the grounds as well as support the Luddenham Show. We thank the Luddenham Show Committee for Welcoming PFS NSW to their wonderful grounds!
Our monthly club meetings will be held at Club Marconi in Bossley Park. They will commence at 7:30 on the third Tuesday of the month as usual, starting in February 2024. This is a great opportunity to meet members, share a meal and run our club meetings.

Thank you to all our members who attended our two shows this year, what an outstanding entry, not just in quality but in volume. It was so wonderful to reconnect with so many pigeon fanciers from near and far, our final shows at Fairfield were certainly a great success and we are so excited for the 2024 Show Season!

We look forward to hosting our two last club shows at the Fairfield Showgrounds this year. We hope everyone is able to enter and attend these great shows so we can end our time at Fairfield on a high. We are very grateful to the Fairfield Council for our long residency at the Showgrounds and wish them all the very best with their planned developments for the area. We will announce our new venue to our members when the details have been finalised.

We had an excellent time Showing at the Sydney Royal Easter Show. It was excellent to see pigeons back in the Poultry Pavilion. Check out our facebook group for photos from the day. Well done to all entrants, putting on a great show to the public and well done to all winners! We cannot thank the Royal Agricultural Society of New South Wales enough for their hospitality and for showcasing our birds once more! We look forward to next year and encourage all our members to consider supporting this show by entering their birds, Great practice for our Club Shows and building interest and awareness about our hobby.

As well as a new look website we also have a Facebook Group you can join and interact with fellow PFS Members, feel free to post photos of your own birds, ask questions and share stories!
Our Ring and membership day on the 21st June had an excellent turn out. Thanks to all those who came to renew, join up and buy rings ready for the 2020 breeding season, it was great to be able to talk birds and meet some new people. Welcome aboard!
